Plan an electronics shipment to the Dominican Republic

A product quote is only one part of a purchasing decision. Assemble the model list, packing information and proposed freight arrangement so your provider can review the cost and handling of the complete shipment.

  1. Start with packed dimensions

    For televisions and monitors, request carton dimensions, gross weight, units per pallet and any stacking limits. For laptops, ask for carton counts and the packing details needed by your freight provider. Screen size or the unpacked product weight alone is not enough for a freight estimate.

  2. Use the Dominican DGA’s lookup

  3. Compare the complete quotation scope

Can I estimate TV freight from screen size alone?
